Katie is number two in a family of 6 children. Three of her younger siblings are adopted and she has been a big sister to many other foster children. Katie graduated with a degree from Arizona State University in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business and Organizational Leadership. While going to school, she worked as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks for 4 years. After graduating, Katie realized her desire to work with nonprofits and is excited to bring her family experiences and passion for nonprofit work together with the Pennsylvania Orphan Care Alliance.
